WOWHELLO

Operating systems stuff

Posted in Uncategorized on March 23, 2009 by dtackle71

Alright so theres like some stuff that computers have.  Computers need the stuff because it is the stuff that makes it run.  Its is what a computer is needs to haves because it has applications.  The operaing systems are what are on it like microsoft.  Microsoft has explorer and stuff that makes everything happening.  It is prety cool.  They are like the coolest cool of windows being windows.  You might die of starvation if you do not have fileing with computers.  So just don’t even worry about it it is pretty stellar.

Mac is like wow.  Jesus Christ mac is very not amazing.  It is so good.  It is so not good.  What im trying to say is wow.  I mean like wow is cool but wow is wow.  The mac is one of the those things that all one could say is wow.  Jesus jesus jesus wow is wow.

So like Linnox is pretty sick because its like small and windows blows.  DON’T EVEN WORRY.  I was contemplating and stuff but i decided to think because we are the nation.  We are we are… we are the nation.

Internet Privacy Concerns

Google Latitude i san interesting tool.  It may be a bit of a privacy concern becuase one can track down and find someone for good or may be not so good intentions.  Wow i hate that this is how it is because it is just not the way it should.  You could get like tracked down and thats not good.

Getting tracked down kind of sucks because it sucks for getting tracked down.  How do you get away from f*****ts that follow you when you have this stupid thing.  And if your trying to flee town how can you escape the cops.  Somethings in life just can’t be explained.  Stupid Google.

Wow i Love google latitude it is so good.  Actually it kinda sucks.  Does not everyone hate google cause they suck.  Wow jesus would be like Whats going on.  Jam google are a bunch a tards i need to bless them from sin.  Wow isn’t it cool that jesus is like the savior.

I must say that google needs to look into the realisticality of the situation with stupid latitude.  In stead of latitude look at catching them terrorists.  Bomb Iran, Afghanistan and so on.  That is all.

Past and Future

There certainbly was new electroniucs in 2008.  A couple inventions that caught my eye were the iPhone and Mitsubishi’s new laser TV.

Laser TV’s are new in the market and are now in competition with LCD and Plasma.  This Laser TV was invented and produced by Mitsubishi.  The TV itself has a better picture and resolution, but comes with a price that is not too affordable.  Overall this TV is definately high end and if affordable a must buy.  These TV’s are very great.

Decimal and Hex

The decimal (base ten or occasionally denary) numeral system has ten as its base. It is the most widely used numeral system, perhaps because humans have ten digits over both hands.

To convert a number from base 16 to base 10, you read it like this:
43 in base 16 = 4 X 161 + 3 X 160 = 64 + 3 = 67 in base 10.
Do the steps in this order

  1. raise the base to the power
  2. multiply the result by the place value
  3. add the result for each place

Remember that letters just stand for numbers between 10 and 15.

Binary Numbers

Posted in Uncategorized on December 16, 2008 by dtackle71

With base 2 you calculate the numbers using “0″ and “1″.

An example of this is

0001011 = 1+2+0+8+0+0+0

this equals 11

The byte goes from right to left thus follows the numbers

Example:

0        0        0        1        0        1        1

2*6   2*5    2*4  2*3    2*2   2*1   2*0

This is the basic 2 pattern

Netgear and stuff

Add a flexible wired network to your entire home in just seconds, with NETGEAR’s Powerline family of internet Adapters and Extenders. As a wired solution, you’ll never need to worry about wireless security issues or dropped connections. In my opinion this would be much easier then using a really long ethernet cable.  What is really useful about this product is it is much easier to use.  It is perfectly paired with a digital media adapter… netgear’s digital entertainer.  The powerline HD adapter is the ideal choice for real-time high definition video and autostreaming, as well as Internet gaming and stuff.  The 85mbps powerline stream is available in two varieties.  One is with a single-port, and one with a 4-port switch allowing you to connect up to 4 Ethernet ready appliances to the internet through one power outlet. Plug in your gaming console, Slingbox, or network multiple PCs in just second.

There are some negatives to this product.  The product has its falldowns with the connection in some buildings.  If it is plugged into a building with older wiring it may not even work.  Also if it isn’t wired properly (the building or house or w.e etc.) it may not be able to pass the electrical current to the router so you could either get a poor or no connection.  For the most part this shouldnt be an issue.  If you have an xbox 360 you could use this also.  One really good thing about it is not having to have a long ethernet to go throughtout your house if needed.  This product is very good and can help you with many problems you may have or might have in the future if adding new software with internet.

Part II

Turing machines are basic abstract symbol-manipulating devices which, despite their simplicity, can be adapted to simulate the logic of any computer algorithm. They were described in 1936 by Alan Turing. Turing machines are not intended as a practical computing technology, but a thought experiment about the limits of mechanical computation. Thus they were not actually constructed. Studying their abstract properties yields many insights into computer science and complexity theory.

A Turing machine that is able to simulate any other Turing machine is called a Universal Turing machine (UTM, or simply a universal machine). A more mathematically-oriented definition with a similar “universal” nature was introduced by Alonzo Church, whose work on lambda calculus intertwined with Turing’s in a formal theory of computation known as the Church-Turing thesis. The thesis states that Turing machines indeed capture the informal notion of effective method in logic and mathematics, and provide a precise definition of an algorithm or ‘mechanical procedure’.

Apple was established on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, to sell the Apple I personal computer kit. They were hand-built by Wozniak and first shown to the public at the Homebrew Computer Club. [12] The Apple I was sold as a motherboard (with CPU, RAM, and basic textual-video chips)—not what is today considered a complete personal computer.[13] The Apple I went on sale in July 1976 and was market-priced at US$666.66. Encouraged by the other computers entering the market, he created his masterpiece, and took it to the Homebrew Computer Club in Palo Alto California to show it to some of the other members. Only about 200 Apple 1 computers were made in total. Excited by their success, Woz went on to design the Apple II – one of the greatest computers of all time.

Bill Gates first product was a version of programming language BASIC for the Altair 8800.  People began to copy Gate’s programs and sell them to other people so he demanded that they pay him.  He made a license saying that if you buy a program from him it may only be used for one computer and is not to be shared.  With this, computer companies could make more money by selling more programs to each individual instead of one buying it and sharing it with everyone else.

Eniac is short for Electorlnical Numerical Integrator And Computer.  ENIAC was designed and built to be able to calculate stuff such as; artillery firing tables for the U.S Army’s Ballistic Research Laboratory.  Eniac was ten-position ring counters to store digits; each digit used 36 tubes,  ten of them were dual triodes making the flipflops n stuff.

A tansistor is a semiconductor device commonly used to amplify or switch electronic signals.  A transistor is made of a solid piece of semiconducter material, with at least three terminals for connection to an external circuit.  The first BTJs were made were made from germanium and some high power types of stuff n yeah and yeah.  Silicon types currently predominate but certain microwave and high performance versions no employ the compound semiconducter material gallium arsenide and the semiconducter alloy silicon germanium.  Stuff like this can kill somebody ya know.  Always keep ya head up dawg. Fuuz ball.

According to germanium the II a person once falbergasted his materials by drying the showerheads with the predomirradical intntergerating flabbsofgasticized with irregarding the honor system.
